Private practice is not simply an extension of clinical training. It is a distinct professional context requiring ethical judgement, structural competence and business literacty. This programme has been developed to support counsellors and psychotherapists to build and sustain private practice in a way that is ethically grounded, professionally robust and sustainable over time. Drawing on over a decade of private practice experience, seven years in clinical supervision and doctoral research focusing on competence in private practice, this training brings together the practical, ethical and developmental dimensions of working independently. --- What this Programme Develops This is not a shortcuts course.
