Service Description
Trauma rarely arrives in the therapy room as one thing. This advanced training supports practitioners to develop confidence in working with trauma when experiences are complex, interconnected and don’t fit neatly within a single explanation or approach. Through the Kaleidoscope Trauma Framework™, participants learn to work through multiple lenses, exploring the intersections between trauma, the nervous system, relationships, neurodivergence, chronic illness, identity and wider context. The focus is not on collecting techniques, but on developing a flexible, ethically grounded way of thinking about trauma — one that supports you to respond to the person in front of you while remaining aware of scope of practice, professional responsibility and the limits of your competence. What you will explore • Complex and interconnected trauma presentations • Trauma through relational and attachment-informed perspectives • Neurodivergence and trauma • Chronic illness, disability and trauma • Identity, context and lived experience • Ethical practice, professional responsibility and scope of competence For: Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Psychologists and Mental Health Practitioners.
